Statement of Privacy Policy and Practices

Senior Assistant Secretary (Planning and Support) / Independent Police Complaints Council (IPCC) has been designated as the Access to Information Officer of the IPCC Secretariat responsible for ensuring that requests for information under the Code on Access to Information are properly dealt with in accordance with the specified procedures.

Requests for information on records held by the IPCC Secretariat may be made by application form which can be downloaded or obtained at the Reception Counter of the IPCC Secretariat at 10/F, Bank of East Asia Harbour View Centre, 56 Gloucester Road, Wan Chai, Hong Kong or at the Public Enquiry Service Centres of all District Offices. Applications should be addressed to :

Other than publications/information available free of charge or at a price specified, the following photocopying charge will be levied :

Photocopying, black and white on A4 size paper

HK $1 per photocopy unless otherwise provided by enactment or approved by the Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury.
(In this context, a document usually means a booklet, a report, or an enclosure in a file.)
